Welcome to The Rathbone Hotel.
Our mission is to ensure you have a fabulous stay with us. We promise that throughout your stay we will surpass the standards you expect from us. Should you find anything not to your satisfaction, please do not hesitate to let us know.
The Rathbone Team
To reduce the amount of contact points in Guestrooms, we have made available below our Hotel Information Directory.
Emergency Procedures
In case of fire or emergency, please contact Reception by dialling ‘0’. If there is any delay in response you should contact Emergency Services directly by dialling ‘9’ and then ‘999’ from your guest room telephone.
Please take time to read the Fire Evacuation notice posted on your bedroom door and familiarise yourself with the emergency exits and procedures.
If you have a disability, please inform our Front Desk Team upon arrival to enable us to provide proper care in the event of an emergency.
When the fire alarm is sounded, all guests must evacuate the building immediately and proceed to the meeting point, which is located on Charlotte Place, outside the ‘Duke of York’ public house, opposite the front entrance to the hotel. For your safety, do not stop to pick up any personal belongings along the way. Do not use the lift.
By law and as part of our commitment to guest safety, we are required to test the fire system on a regular basis, which we carry out each week on a Monday at 12:00 noon. Guests will be informed in advance of any tests.
Non-Smoking Policy
All of our guest bedrooms and public areas, including our breakfast room and lobby, are non-smoking and we kindly ask you to respect this policy. This is a legal obligation and you will incur a £250 additional cleaning fee if you smoke in the hotel.
