Emergency Information

Your safety is our priority.
If you ever need immediate assistance, please dial 0 for Reception.
If there is any delay, dial 9 then 999 for emergency services.

Please familiarise yourself with the fire evacuation notice on your bedroom door. Should the alarm sound, please leave the building immediately and make your way to our assembly point on Charlotte Place outside The Duke of York pub.
For safety, do not use the lift.

We test our fire alarm every Monday at 12:00pm.

If you have any accessibility needs, please advise our Front Desk so we can support you appropriately in an emergency.

Non-Smoking Policy

All of our guest bedrooms and public areas, including our breakfast room and lobby, are non-smoking and we kindly ask you to respect this policy.  This is a legal obligation, and you will incur a £250 additional cleaning fee if you smoke in the hotel.

Security

All visitors are required to register at reception for safety and security purposes, we appreciate your co-operation.

Housekeeping

Your room is refreshed daily.
For towels:

  • Towels on the rail = reuse
  • Towels on the floor = replace

Bed linens are changed every third day.
If you require extra amenities such as cots, ironing equipment, or personal-care kits (shaving, dental, mending), please dial 0.

Laundry & Dry Cleaning

Available Monday–Saturday.
Items collected before 9am are returned the same day.
To arrange collection, please dial 0.

Room Keys

Your key card operates your lights and air-cooling system.
If it becomes demagnetised (common when near phones or cards), please visit Reception for a quick reissue.

Air-Cooling & Heating

Your room’s climate system activates when your key card is inserted, and the windows are closed. Adjust temperature and fan settings using the wall controls. Our system maintains an ambient temperature automatically when the room is unoccupied.

Luggage Assistance

If you would like help with luggage, please dial 0 around fifteen minutes before departure.

In-Room Safe

Every room includes a secure safe.
Choose a four-digit code to lock and reopen it.
Please ensure it is left open upon departure.

Do Not Disturb

Use the privacy sign on your door if you prefer not to be disturbed.
Please note that housekeeping will not service the room when this sign is displayed.

Food & Drink

Albert’s Bar

Our lounge bar is located on the ground floor and open daily to resident guests, a calm spot for a drink throughout the day or before heading out into the neighbourhood.

Room Service

Drinks available 10:30am–10:00pm via Reception (dial 0).
For late-night dining, we partner with Night Room Service offering a range of local restaurant options delivered to the hotel.

Business Services

We can assist with photocopying, scanning, message-taking, small print jobs and courier arrangements (subject to availability and charges). Dial 0 for assistance.

Internet Access

Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
Connect to Rathbone WiFi, open your browser, and follow the on-screen prompts.
