A Feast of Fabulous Food

London has become the home to the world’s finest restaurants. The Rathbone Hotel is close to some of the most famous dining rooms in the world, including the three-star Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester and the two-starred Le Gavroche in Upper Brook Street, Hibiscus in Maddox Street and Sketch on Conduit Street.

London is home to 62 Michelin-starred restaurants (by comparison Paris has 92 and New York has 73) but of course you don’t have to spend a fortune to dine in style in London!

From the very best in fine dining to the latest pop-up restaurant, there is something for everyone.  Chinatown offers some of the most authentic Chinese food in London and if it’s big American fayre you’re looking for, Planet Hollywood, The Hard Rock Café and Maxwell’s will satisfy even the hungriest carnivore!

Perhaps the biggest food trend in London in the last 12 months is the emergence of the gourmet burger. There are dozens of permanent and pop-up restaurants and the most popular are Hache, Byron Burger, Five Guys, Burger & Lobster and Patty & Bun.

There are so many restaurants in London to choose from, it’s hard where to know where to begin. Every cuisine is here – including Italian, Spanish, South American, Japanese, Indian and Middle Eastern – and there are restaurants and gastropubs in London to suit every budget and dietary leaning, including Kosher and Halal restaurants, vegetarian and vegan restaurants and raw food restaurants.

London’s dining hotspots change from month to month. It can be Covent Garden one month, Hoxton and Shoreditch the next, the City the month after that and the East End after that but wherever you choose to eat, London’s restaurants are the best in the world!
